Some thoughts on cellulite (sorry guys, you'll want to skip this post). .
I just shared this on my personal insta account and thought this might encourage some of you all too! .
I took this pic to make some cute or snarky caption about Texas winters and how I was wearing gloves and a hat 3 days ago and today shorts and my light sweater was overkill but I insisted because it's winter. I uploaded this pic and I saw it. Cellulite. I've always know it's there (thank you bathroom with your bright lights and expansive mirrors) but I didn't want to share it. Not that it's a surprise that I have it-- supermodels have it and I'm def not a super model frame, so we can all assume I have my share. I didn't want it to be out there, to be seen. Shame. Stupid fear. Silly insecurity. This is what we do, right? We hide our flaws in hopes people don't notice so we can feel accepted. LIE. BIG FAT LIE. Instead when we share our imperfections we find unity. When we hear our "Me too's!" there is more unity than our matching filters in our perfectly staged pictures.
. >> So if you have cellulite, will you comment with a little "me too" or 🙋🏾🙋🏼🙋🏽🙋🏻. You aren't alone in your imperfections and you are accepted here just as you are. 😘 XO, @beckykiser
